The same height as the downrod is. Don't buy a low profile or flush mount ceiling fan, because these are specially designed for places where the ceiling is less than eight feet high.
I would suggest you buy a traditional ceiling fan or a industrial ceiling fan. Industrial ceiling fans are specially designed for high and big places.

∙ 14y agoIf the fan came with two stem lengths use the longer one. On a ceiling that high two feet is a good distance to get air circulation from above the fan to below it.
