First of all it helps to keep the vagina clean and mostly during periods, most men prefer having intercourse with a woman who has shaved pubic hair, it is considered sexy by the woman herself and/or her partner, it helps to keep the pubic area dry either from sweating and last but not least; for some women the pubic hair can make the vagina sore during friction and/or hair pulling during sex.
Yeah don't worry about it! If you have naturally thick hair (like me) your natural hair will eventually grow out again. (: I've gotten mine thinned like 3 times but its always grown back to it's original thickness!

If you want you natural hair back, avoid putting any other chemicals in it and just let it grow. Although it may take a while but after your hair has grew, you will start to notice your natural hair growing back. Some people cut they hair off and let it grow back natural but you can just let the chemicals grow off until you see your natural hair again.
