your looken at oround 4 thousand to do so, your better off trading your blazer off and getting a 4 wheel drive.

ALL u would have 2 do is buy a Transmission or extension housing A intermediate housing A Transfer Case A shifter assembly A complete Front Axle & front drive shaft A New or have another rear drive shaft made.a Vaccume switch & assembly if a NEW axle is used.New springs & mounts 4 the Front axle.OR buy one already 4 wheel drive.:->

Take the blazer to a local autozone to have the battery tested for FREE! but the blazer would not start if it sat for a couple days or so. also it would start hard, but once it started it would run fine.

With the right tools and knowledge, no.

Sounds to me like your Vacum booster behind the master cylinder is weak or bad!

Bottom right corner on the radaitor. It's there just hard to see.

Hard to say, they have several intakes and carburetors for that application.

You have to drop the fuel tank and the pump is on the top. It is not that hard to do. We just did one in a 1999.

Sometimes a piece of carbon will get caught in the EGR Valve. If is is hard starting, idles rough, and the brakes are hard, check the EGR Valve, it probably has a piece of carbon stuck, keeping it open.

There are 6 altogether. 4 on the sides and 2 in the rear. They are hard to install and keep from leaking so I suggest you take it to a garage.

There is no headlight relays for this year, I have the same vehicle and I was pissed to find out its hard wired directly through the headlight switch itself.

iF YOU HAVE ANY MECHANICAL SENSE IT WILL BE NO PROBLEM, iT CAN BE DONE IN A MATTER OF A FEW HOURS DONE BY SOMEONE THAT KNOWS LEFTY LOOSEY RIGHTY TIGHTY.

What i do is put it in reverse and go about 10 feet and brake a little hard then put it in drive. it always works for me when that happens

Replace the fuel filter and if it still acts up have the fuel pressure tested. It should have 41 to 47 psi.

No power assist Severe vacuum leak Bad brake booster

When not used, they do get stuck and hard to shift. I had this with my 93. I put it in neutral and forced it into 4 wheel low. After it went, it is now easier to shift into.

I have been told the 1976 to 1991 K5 Blazer and K5 Jimmy by GM have the same size factory hard top. So I belive a 1977 and 1990 should be able to be swapped.

The four wheel drive S10 with the 4.3L engine motor mounts are very hard to do even on a lift. It's not a job I would attempt at home in the driveway. The two wheel drive S10, 4.3L is easier.

Assuming it's the 4.3L vortec, it's in the front below and to the left of the throttle. It's buried down in there so hard to see and even harder to get to.

Check the power steering fluid level in the reservoir, it may be low or empty. Filling it will restore the power steering but only temporarily. The cause of the leak will have to be determined and repaired.
