History tells us a biased opinion of what has occurred from the view of the victor. If taken with this grain of truth in mind, history can show us a lot about the development of the human race (both good and bad) from many different aspects. A sociologist will use history much differently than say a military historian would or a linguist might. We can chart with the study of History; technology, sociology, psychology, the causes of the rise and decline of civilizations and and there application to present day.

history teaches us lessons , so the mistakes are not performed again and great work encourage us .

History also teaches you where your ancestors came from. It shows patterns in human nature. It teaches you how to predict the future with current events. By knowing history you know what is fact and what is fiction when it comes to politics. The one person you never want to get into a debate with is a historian.

Because we can learn from our mistake and change it, and we probably won't make those mistakes again.
