It shows how the animals have now conquered everything and that the farm is run by animals. It is their farm now ANIMAL FARM.
Although Animal Farm was intended to satirize the Bolshevik Revolution and Soviet communism, it is often connected with all types revolutionists that revolt against some form of tyrannical government in desire of creating a new one that they deem as more "Utopian", but eventually end up exactly like what they were revolting against in the first place.
It applies to the world today because it shows that no matter what, communism would never work out. There is always going to be a leader that leads the people into thinking that they are all on the same level. During the Russian Revolution, Joseph Stalin(Napoleon) uses underhanded methods and his own party to overthrow Leon Trotsky(Snowball) because if he didn't, Trotsky would have prevailed.
Animal Farm is a representation of how the socialistic idea turns into communism. The pig characters ( i don't remember their names) represent Marx and Lennon. They preach that the man is evil and that he is controlling the working animals and that they should over throw him and make all animals equal. By and by the pigs gain control because they tell the other animals that 'all animals are equal but pigs are more equal'. eventually the pigs are living in the farm house playing Poker with their human neighbors and the other animals are still living outside and are decidedly not equal in any sense of the word to the pigs who have become just as men.
Animals. On a farm.
LOL. Animal Farm is a book about politics. The animals talk about different political views and each animal holds its own political position. Read this in 8th grade which as over 10years ago so my answer will not be the best but there is alot of debating and I do not remember which animal was for each point (republican or democrat). If this is required reading for school this is a book you can not just get cliff notes for to get by. You actually have to read this one or you will be royally lost and fail the test and quizes. Sorry pal but its a must read or you will be lost.
