What to cook for a Jewish person?

It really depends on whether they keep kosher and if so, to which degree. If the are Charedim, Chassidic or Orthodox they are likely to strictly abide by the laws of Kashrut and if this is the case you will not be able to cook for them, as anything they eat must be made of ingredients strictly certified as kosher and prepared in a kosher kitchen - all of which has to be done with rabbinical supervision.

If they're not quite so strict, they'll probably be happy with anything that fits with kashrut, even if your kitchen isn't kosher - search for kashrut or kosher online to find out which foods can and cannot be eaten by Jews. It's not just pork - we also cannot eat a lot of other things such as prawns, oysters, certain fish and anything where meat and milk are mixed (in fact, if we have consumed either meat or dairy, we then cannot consume the other for a certain period of time - commonly six hours).

Finally, they may be non-religious. If so, they might not keep kosher at all and will quite happily tuck into hotdogs, pepperoni Pizza and pork ribs, all washed down with big glass of milk.

Your best bet will be to ask them beforehand - as is a good idea with any guest, because you never know who might have a food allergy or be vegetarian/vegan (as many Jews are).

Jewish dietary laws regulate almost every aspect of food, but there is not much regulation about how the food has to be cooked. If the ingredients and utensils are kosher and there is no mixing of meat and dairy, then it usually doesn't matter how the food is cooked.

(And yes there are a few exceptions, such as the cooking of of liver, which must be broiled prior to use).
