It was a process over a an extremly long time. Sweden as in svealand has been a kingship since before medieval times, but a true "state" did not exist until Goetland and Svealand was united under one king and the religious infighting between christians and Norse stopped.

It is a parlamentary system where democratic rules apply. But the northern people has less voting power than the south per capita as they own the resources as well as most of the swedish wealth by export.

It is all corrected so that the northerners can not rule the southerners by commerce.

North line is define at Jönköping btw if you did not know that.
