Well, for some iguanas, like those in the genus Ctenosaur (if I spelled that right lol) their diet is much the same with some locality differences (like the Mexican Spiny Tailed iguanas diet vs. the green iguanas diet). Green iguanas also share (in males) the head-bobbing dominance technique with all other iguana species.
They vary in size, behavior, and color. Other species of iguana come from South America, Canada, the Galapagos Island, Madagascar, the Caribbean Islands, and Central America off the East African coast and Fiji. The green iguana and red iguana are more familiar, while the Brachylophus vitiensis and the Fiji Island iguana are becoming endangered species.

some of the are close in size but the green iguana is considered the largest iguana. but there are similar in by being in the same ecosystem and most of the are omnivores(eat plants and meat)
The more familiar types, the green iguana and red iguana, are still present in very large numbers. However, the Brachylophus vitiensis and the Fiji Island iguana are becoming endangered species.
The main types are green, red, desert, and rhino. there are other less common types, but these are the main ones. there can also be albinos and blizzards in every type of iguana.

Most Reptile Books will say herbivore as they live on a diet of predominantly plants and fruit in the wild. However, they are technically omnivores because under a food shortage or in certain climates, it has been seen to eat crickets and other small insects.
