2 things can cause this problem. You may have a clogged condensate drain. Simple fix is to cut the PVC and use compressed air to blow through the drain. Your coil could be freezing up and when it thaws the water runs off the coil and lands in the return. If your coil is freezing you may be low on refrigerant or you have a dirty coil or filter.
The filter will be in the air exchanger.
Yes, you can change only the filter and then add enough oil to replace the amount lost by removing the filter.
Every month or so. Depending on what type of filter it is. Some go as long as 3 months.
It's time to change the Air filter in the unit.
I am having problems getting the back clip to come loose. I have the correct tool to change the filter. Help????
The amount of time you run the air conditioner depends on how often you should change the filter. Generally you should change the filter at least once every 5-6 months of use.
change the spark plugs and wires and change the oil and change the oil filter and air cleaner filter and you should get better gas miles
it's the same as the furnace filter. the air conditioner runs through the furnace to push he cold air. change your furnace filter and you are changing the air filter on the air conditioner
approx, 4.5 quarts with filter change!
If central air conditioner turns on but is not blowing through the vents, check the filter. If it is dirty, change it. Change the thermostat into cool, this will defrost the air conditioner.
Engine oil, 4.5 qts with filter change.
