Actinium hasn't applications in everyday life.
Actinium is found in extremely low concentrations in uranium ores; but actinium can be obtained also as an artificial element by the irradiation of radium:
226Ra(n,gamma)227Ac.
Actinium is prepared by irradiation because the extraction from ores is very difficult and tedious:

No use for actinium in every day life.
