Industrialization affects biodiversity primarily because the more that people build up buildings, homes, offices this means that usually more and more forest/tree land is being cut down to allow space for it. When this happens, the homes of the animals and plants that were living in that area are now destroyed. Advancing technology without taking into consideration the environmental impacts is also dangerous for biodiversity. This is because the omissions or side effects of certain technological advancements can also negatively impact the environment and, in turn, biodiversity.
