If you take distance to mean displacement, which is the the absolute distance between an original point and another point in a Cartesian coordinate system, then velocity is the displacement of some object divided by the time interval while the object is being displaced.

Velocity is the ratio of the change in distance that something travels over the amount of time of the change. If an object travels 10 km in 2 hours, its average velocity is 5 km/hr.

Acceleration is one of the units with which motion is described. It's the rate at which

the speed of an object changes, and the direction in which the speed changes.

In the case of constant speed:

distance = speed x time

For variable speed: speed = ds/dt, where "s" is the object's position.

Force=mass*acceleration

The law of motion that states that an objects acceleration related to the net force applied and inversely related to the mass of the object is?

Newton's second law of motion states that an object's acceleration is directly related to the net force applied and inversely related to the mass of the object.

How is inertia related to the objects mass?

The more mass an object has, the more inertia it has. It is harder to change the motion of an object that has more mass.

Inertia, which is related to mass.

What property of matter is inertia related?

i think the property of matter inertia is related to is its mass.......the more the mass the less will be the inertia.....

The acceleration of an object depends on the force exerted on what?

I am not sure exactly but i got something like mass & force, it is directly related to the strength of the force & inversely related to the objects mass.You are right, this is Newton's Second Law of motion.Acceleration describes change of velocity of an object with time. (It's rate of change of velocity.)

How are mass and interia related?

Inertia refers to the resistance of an object when there is a change in the motion of the object. The more inertia the object has, the more mass it will have.

Unit for a measure of resistance to a change of motion?

The inertia. This is directly related to the object's mass.

The relationship between mass and motion is given by Newton's Second Law.

What kind of energy is a motion?

The energy related with motion is called kinetic energy. It is calculated by the formula KE = (1/2) mass x velocity squared.
