Widely used Magnetic platters Hard disk drives uses Properties of Magnetism. As known Data is stored in Binary form, the disk uses North/South Polarity created on Magnetic disk platter as 0 or 1 (binary digits). The sensor (Read/Write Head) in Hard disk senses magnetic orientation at a very small area and interprets it as Binary Digit.
For storing data on Hard disk the magnetic orientations are changed according to data by Read/Write Head.
The hard drive is split into many small regions, each containing a few hundred magnetic grains that are used to store one bit.
The writing head of the hard drive contains an electromagnet or similar that can be used to turn magnetism on or off in the magnetic grains. The reading head can then read this information.
The principle is pretty much the same as the one previously used for recordable tapes, whether music cassettes or VHS video tapes.

how information is stored magnetically on hard drives.
Permanant information is stored in hard drives, usb drives, cds, dvds and the temporary information is stored in RAM (Random Access Memory).
making a backup
The main thing that rotates inside a computer is the hard drive. The hard drive is a disk that stores all your computer's information. The information is stored magnetically, this is why a magnet can be so damaging to a computer. Also, there are fans inside a computer that help cool the components.
In the computer's HARD
It is stored on a hard disk drive.
A solid state drive is a data storage device that stores information on discs can be read on a computer. It can also be read on portal drives as long as it is compatible with the discs that the information is stored on.
Inorder to know where our file is stored without any confusion!!
Some is stored in ROM; most of the information is typically stored on the hard disk, from where it is loaded into RAM.

It is called a byte
Information is stored in the computer's hard drive, which is a magnetic disk read by lasers.
data are stored on a circular tracks the 0s and 1s are represented magnetically
