Visible light from the Sun is refracted as it enters our eyes as parallel light rays. The light rays are converged to a point on our retina by the lens in our eyes. The inverted image produced is then sent chemically to the brain via the optic nerve where it is interpreted by our brains as a virtual image (the image that we see)

What are some possible problems with just using observations in science?
Well, we can't see everything. Matter of fact there's a lot we can't see.We have to use some logic and reasoning to help us out with the things that are invisible to us. Like atoms, we can't see them because they're too small, actually their existence hasn't even been proven since even light can't see it, but we've had to use logic to be able to say that they exist (with a high amount of probability).

The space shuttle helped us to be able to go into space and find out lots of info. we did not know. Before we had the space shuttle all we had were telescopes. Telescopes were good but all that they gave us were a picture and then we had to estimate how far away things in the universe were from other things were in the universe. Now that we have the space shuttle we are able to see things that we may not have seen with the telescope. We are also able to see how far away things are from other things
What do spirits see?
a whole lot more than we do! when we came to earth we were covered by a metaphorical veil which made us forget life before we came here and is what prevents us from seeing all spiritual things around us. they can see us and everything else there is to see
