malaria is treated with a class of drugs which are known, unsurprisingly, as antimalarials. Antimalarial drugs are designed to attack the parasites which cause malaria, preventing them from spreading while also killing them off so that they cannot continue causing infection. The success of treatment varies, depending on what strain of malaria the patient has, whether or not the malaria is drug resistant, and whether or not the patient is able to complete the course of drugs needed to treat the malaria.

THERE SHOULD BE AN ANTI MALARIA DRUG THAT IS INJECTED INTO BAIES WHILST THEYARE STILL YOUNG JUST LIKE POLIO. THEN IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR A PERSON TO CONTRACT THE DISEASE AT AN OLDER AGE. MALARIA SEEMS TO BE A VERY DANGEROUS DISEASE AS IT ATTACKS THE RED BLOOD CELLS, SO IT IS VERY VITAL TO FIND SOME KIND OF SUPPLEMENT OR DRUG THAT PROTECTS THE CELLS FROM THE INFECTION.

Malaria isn't hard to treat. The problem is that poverty-stricken Africans, who suffer from the disease most, can't afford the treatment. It is cured by a type of antibiotic called antimalarials - this includes the drug quinine. Another problem is that there are many strains that are resistant to some of the drugs, so scientists have to constantly develop new antimalarials.

Patients with more advanced strains of the disease require hospital admission, with drips and drugs being injected directly into the bloodstream.

yes, if the disease i caught early enough...and if the right medication has been given...its better to be prevented than treated, it's healthier and easier..:)

The type of drugs, the method of giving them, and the length of the treatment depend on where the malaria was contracted and the severity of the patients illness.
