I can give you a rough idea of the correlation. The lining of a woman's uterus starts building up after menstruation so that if a fertilized egg implants itself on the womb and starts to grow, it will have nourishment. I believe I read that ovulation usually occurs about 7 days after the end of the menstrual cycle. So yes, ovulation is the forming of the egg, which is released and goes down the fallopian tube to the womb at the proper time. "Tubal pregnancy" is when the fertilized egg implants itself in the fallopian tube and starts to grow there instead of the usual implantation on the uterine wall. Exactly where the egg and sperm combine to form a fertilized egg, I'm not exactly sure. I tried to tell you what I knew about the miraculous process.

OK, first I will explain what each is: Ovulation is when an unfertilised egg is release from the ovaries to be fertilised to make a baby Fertilisation is when an unfertilised egg is fertilised by sperm and a baby begins to form in the uterus (womb) Menstruation is when an unfertilised egg and the built-up womb lining break down because the egg has not been fertilised so a baby will not begin to grow and so the spongy womb lining is not needed either SO: An unfertilised egg is ovulated and then may or may not be fertilised. If fertilised, menstruation does not occur. If it is not fertilised, menstruation does not occur

Yes because if your not have a mentrual cycle, that means your not ovulating.............

The menstrual cycle runs about 28 days from start to finish. About halfway through the cycle an egg is released. If that egg is fertilized a new baby will be born.

Ovulation occurs BEFORE menstruation, as menstruation is the process where the unfertilised egg is flushed from the body along with the blood which lined the womb to hold the egg if it is fertilised. Since it isn't, it breaks down and leaves the body via a 'period'.

Menstruation is the lining being shed when a egg is not fetilized . If a egg becomes fertilized before menstruation begins the blood lining doesnt shed and protects the baby after fertilization.

How are ovulation fertilization and menstruation related?

Menstruation is the shedding of tissue and blood from the lining of the womb that occurs at the beginning of menstrual cycle. Menstrual cycle is the series of changes a woman's body goes through to prepare for a pregnancy. Ovulation is a part of menstrual cycle when a mature egg is released from the ovary, pushed down the fallopian tube and is available to be fertilized. If you have intercourse during ovulation you can get pregnant. So, fertilization means that sperm has gotten to and entered the mature egg.
