Nuclear fuel is the fuel used to produce nuclear energy.

Nuclear energy can be used to make electricity. But first the energy must be released. It can be released from atoms in two ways: nuclear fusion and nuclear fission.

Nuclear energy is used to produce electricity

Nuclear energy is used to produce steam. This steam used to rotate turbines

Usually, nuclear energy, the energy of the fission or fusion of atoms, is converted to heat energy. Perhaps the simplest way to harvest it is to use it to boil water, and use the steam to drive turbines. There is a link below.

We use nuclear fission in nuclear reactors to tap nuclear energy.

Saying nuclear energy is like saying Norwegian furniture. Nuclear power/energy is used everywhere, in 2009 20% of all electricity in the US was nuclear origin.

why is nuclear fusion not currently used as an energy source on earth yet why is nuclear fusion not currently used as an energy source on earth yet why is nuclear fusion not currently used as an energy source on earth yet

energy is gathered by diffrent ways

Nuclear energy is not gathered or created. There is a saying to go along with this: Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed in form. That saying is called the Law of the Conservation of Energy. Nuclear is a type of potential energy so this concept applies to it. There are many ways nuclear energy can be used. Lets say submarines. Most people have heard of the nuclear powered submarines. They can stay under water for a long time because they have basically unlimited energy. The submarines are powered by a nuclear reactor causing a series of nuclear reactions. The submarine uses the nuclear reactions as power. Generally it will get converted to mechanical or electrical energy (both types of Kinetic energy).

Nuclear energy is used to raise steam to drive a steam/generator to produce electricity

nuclear energy is used for chemo-therapy and also for x-rays

No, nuclear energy is only used to make electricity

Uranium is used as nuclear fuel for nuclear reactors; the nuclear energy can be considered as an alternative source of energy.

Uranium is used as nuclear fuel in nuclear reactors.

Nuclear energy is used to produce electrical energy, but there is no direct relationship

Uranium is used to make energy by fission

Nuclear energy may be used to produce electricity and may be used to uplift the space shuttles.Nuclear energy may be used to produce electricity and may be used to uplift the space shuttles.

nuclear energy is using the energy of science to be used as a weapon that has connections to science

A fission of energy atoms generating nuclear energy that is used to produce electricity.

Nuclear energy was (and still is) used as a means of producing electricity via a nulcear power plant.

Nuclear energy is just another way of producing electricity via a nuclear reactor.

Nuclear energy cannot be stored in the conventional sense because nuclear energy is used as soon as it is created by the nuclear reactor. Used nuclear fuel is stored at nuclear power plants in steel-lined, concrete pools or basins filled with water.
