Can using rubber mats on concrete floors prevent shin splints or other issues?

Yes using rubber mats prevents issues with feet, ankles, knees and even the back. When you stand on a hard surface like concrete it gives you no support and when doing this for long periods of time it puts too much pressure on certain areas. Putting soft rubber over it will prevent the pressure from happening so quickly or at all.

Can rubber be made into a building?

Both yes and no to an extent. Due to themalleability of the rubber, it can be formed in the shapes of the floors, walls, and ceilings: but also due to that fact, it can't be. The uneven weight would cause the building to bend and possibly rip apart. So theoretically, we can balance the weight and make a stable structure. but it would render the building useless to humans, because if there was a skyscraper made of solid rubber, then all humans would need to be moving exactly the same on opposing sides of the building to evenlydistributethe shock. Since that is nearly impossible to do, you'd need to look at something smaller, like a single-story building. It wouldn't need to transfer any shock any further than the floor, to the roof, and then back, without needing to shift the weight or shock to any other substances that may be above andattachedto the structure.Unless the rubber was combined with a stronger substance, like concrete. But that would only make the rubber stronger. It would not make the concrete stronger. If that makes sense. Concrete is a strong substance, and addingsomethinglike rubber is dangerous. The concrete cant hold as much weight now, because the malleable properties of the rubber would make it bend. but since concrete cannot bend, it may even collapse under its own weight. So yes, and no. It depends on the structure itself.
