Yes using rubber mats prevents issues with feet,ankles, knees and even the back. When you stand on a hard surface like concrete it gives you no support and when doing this for long periods of time it puts too much pressure on certain areas. Putting soft rubber over it will prevent the pressure from happening so quickly or at all.
