If MD has been notified of your capture, and the extradition process has begun, it can take - as long as it takes. There are certain steps in the legal process that each state must fulfill to satisfy your lawful extradtion back to MD. There is no statutory limit on the timeframe this may take. It is not a quick process, but if you are held by PA for longer than 90 days I would recommend you file a writ of habeus corpus to see what the status of the extraditon process is.
