If it's mixing coolant with the motor oil, not for long.
No
The head gasket or actual cylinder head is cracked.
Probably have a cracked cylinder head or a blown head gasket
A car can be driven with a cracked head, but not very far. Once the head is cracked, the engine will start mixing oil and water and it is likely that the motor will lock up.
This is often a cracked head gasket between oil passage and a cylinder.
There is a new Product on the Market wich will fix a cracked Head. Seen this on one of the Car Shows on TV. They say its Guaranteed to seal the Crack......try it.....not much to lose !!!
Could be a head gasket or a warped or cracked Cylinder head.
To tell if the head is cracked, you have to remove it from the car, so you will replace the head gasket, anyway. Take the head to a machine shop and have it magnafluxed to see if it's cracked.
Is it REALLY white or possibly grey? REALLY white is anti-freeze in the combustion chambers, indicating a blown head gasket at the least, then a warped cylinder head, cracked sylinder head or worst is a cracked cylinder block (basically 50 percent of the motor could be taken out and welded depending on materials, or replacing that chunk of motor)
Bad head gasket? Cracked Head? CRacked block?
Yes! if you have a cracked head chances are your oil and coolant are mixing together and coolant and or oil is leaking out causing the vehicle to overheat... if you have a cracked head fix it! do not drive the vehicle
A cracked head and/or a bad head gasket.
