Life of Cold Virus While In the AirIt is important to understand that viruses don't actually live. They are simply DNA or RNA material encased within a protein complex (a virion). They cause damage when they come in contact with a host's cells and are able to attach and take them over to replicate themselves using the host's energy and materials. A more appropriate question might be how long can a virus stay airborne? This can be answered if the size of the specific viral organism is known and how much weight it has to affect the ability of the respiratory droplet containing it to stay afloat on air currents produced by the cough or sneeze. Usually, especially for cold and flu viruses, this is only a matter of seconds and for a diameter of six feet from the person who coughs or sneezes and produces the respiratory droplets, otherwise, they fall from the air to land on surfaces in that approximate 6 foot area.

They can remain active (e.g., able to infect someone) for longer on the surfaces and on objects that receive the droplets as they fall from the air. Often, for flu and cold viruses, this is around 48 hours, but does vary as noted above according to the size of the individual virions. See the related questions below for more details.

Only for a few seconds. It is not airborne in the medical sense of that term. It can be in the air, but only when inside respiratory droplets that are in the air. The droplets will fall to a nearby floor or surface in a matter of seconds after a cough or sneeze releases the droplets carrying the virus particles into the air (usually within 6 foot diameter of the source).

The flu viruses are not airborne in the medical use of the term, meaning that they do not "float" on air currents to be transmitted long distances. The virus may be in the air in respiratory droplets from sneezes or coughs, but the distance before they fall out of the air (they are heavier than air) will vary depending on the force of the cough or sneeze. Usually this is around a 3 foot diameter around the person for only a short time after the droplets are dispersed. The CDC and WHO have recommended keeping a distance of 6 feet from an infected person or from people in crowded places to be the safest from inhaling or touching flu virus particles that are in respiratory droplets in the air or that are on surfaces near a person who had not covered their mouths and noses when coughing or sneezing. Once they fall out onto surfaces in that 3 to 6 foot distance, they can live on the surfaces for around 48 hours. See the related question below for more information on how long flu viruses live on surfaces.

It will survive for a few minutes (5 to 7 minutes) as oxygen greatly contrasts it and basically destroys it.

But if there is a lot of smoke the coronavirus will multiplicate as it's usually made from wood wich absorbs Coronavirus and will eventuslly spread it.

With the rapid development of new coronaviruses, many countries have fallen into a crisis of closure, which has seriously affected our normal lives.

We know that the main route of transmission of this virus is droplets of the respiratory tract, so everyone wearing a mask is a very effective protection method, but some unscrupulous businessmen have pushed up prices and sold an ordinary mask to US $ 20, which made many people unable to burden.

We have cooperated with a medical institution to purchase a large number of low-cost KF94 masks. If you need to purchase a large number of masks, please contact us to ensure that you will get masks at a reasonable price.

The virus lives longest on plastic and steel, surviving for up to 72 hours. But the amount of viable virus decreases sharply over this time. It does poorly on copper, surviving four hours. On cardboard, it survives up to 24 hours, which suggests packages that arrive in the mail should have only low levels of the virus — unless the delivery person has coughed or sneezed on it or has handled it with contaminated hands.
