A can of refried beans can last anywhere from 2 to 5 years. However if the can is dented or rusted it is best to discard the beans.

An unopened can of refried beans can be stored in the pantry 2 to 5 years. Opened beans should not be kept longer than 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
