Cooked lobster should be good for 3-4 days, according to people who sell it. To be on the safe side, I'd stick to three days tops. I don't think you could keep it much longer without being all too aware that it wasn't safe to eat. Not much smells worse than lobster that's gone bad.

Lobster should be cooked live and eaten right away as the meat can go bad very quickly. If you need to keep "previously frozen" lobster for a short period, steam it as soon as possible after thawing and just reheat in the oven when ready to eat. It should then be eaten within a day or two at most. Enjoy!

They can last up to 5 days or so in the fridge. My husband is a lobsterman and he brings them home often. One time we left a few in apaper bag in the fridge when we went away and 5 days later they were still alive. Soft shells won't last that long, they tend to be weaker. But the lobsters always taste best when you cook them sooner than later.

Raw meats do not last long in the refrigerator. Meats that are not going to be eaten in a few days should be frozen and not stored in the refrigerator.Place raw meats in freezer bags or paper or an airtight container.Then freeze them for up to 2 years.

Most will survive for at least 24 hours. Keep them covered with a damp cloth or a layer of seaweed to provide moisture. Live lobsters cannot be stored in fresh water or enclosed in plastic bags.
