Males often grow 11 to 16 feet long and weigh 500 lbs, though records of even larger crocodiles have been reported: some huge males stretching 18 feet (or more) and weighing over 1800 lbs. Females are generally smaller in size, by about 30% of the male croc's mass and length.

A nile crocodile ussualy grows to 3.5-6 meter (11.5-19.7 ft) in lenght, on average it reaches 4.6 meter (15 ft). The biggest ever was 6.7 m (22 ft) and weigth about 1300 kilo (2900 lb), his name is Gustave. Only the saltwater crocodile can get bigger.
