It honestly depends on the Brand, how much you do with your hands in a normal day, and also how strong your nails are.
Believe it or not there are more brands of nail polish that than probably is makeup. OPI is a nice strong brand, and they have a large variety of colors. if you write a lot, or do a lot of heavy lifting, I would recommend a top and bottom coat. Also, find a cuticle cream, or green tea nail strengthener, it will improve the health of your nails, (as well as vitiman E, and Biotin.)

∙ 14y agodepends.....if ur using glue, then it will stay on for awhile and sometimes they will fall off and u just glue them back on. if u use stick on nails they really arent going to stay on. now if ur talking about getting ur nails done then they willn fall off after ur nails grow too long cause ur going to have to cut them sometime.

∙ 13y agoit depends on the kind of fake nails if you have cheep old dollar store nails proably no longer than a day but if you get them profesionaly done then about 3 or 4 weeks at the longest ideots

it depends how much glue you put on them! and if the glue is a waterproof type but id say to be safe dont put them in water. When you shower try keep your hands out the water. but if you put a lot if glue on your nails and let the false nail dry then it should be ok in the swimming pool just make sure you dont swim to long. 1 hour at most id say. hope i helped. :)
