its actually about 2 months. once the joey's are born they make the 5 minute journey to the mothers pouch where they stay for nearly 2 months. when they are ready to emerge. they're eyes will still be closed for about 10 days. they will still slip they're head into mom's pouch to nurse but will ride on her back till the eyes are open.
Sugar gliders are marsupials so their internal gestation period is short, a little over 2 weeks. However, they are then moved to the pouch to continue evolving, which takes about 60 - 70 days.
The sugar glider is a marsupial and like most marsupials has a very short gestation period. It is about 16 days at which time the joey will make their own way to their mothers pouch.
Once in the pouch they attach themselves to a nipple and remain in the pouch for about 8 weeks. After the 8 week period they begin to emerge from the pouch but just for a little while at a time. It takes them up to a week to fully emerge from their mothers pouch.
On the first day you may only see a foot and then the entire hind end of the glider. It will usually take about a week before they let go of the nipple and fully emerge from the pouch. If you try to remove them or handle them before they fully emerge you can cause injury to both the joey and the mother and probably kill the baby.
According to Life of Marsupials By C. Hugh Tyndale-Biscoe, CSIRO Publishing 13-16 days
A female sugar glider becomes sexually mature (can have a baby) after she is somewhere between 5 and 18 months old. The gestation period is about 16 days.
They are pregnant for 15-17 days and then carry the baby in the pouch for another 70-74 days after that
It takes 15-17 days for the mom to "give birth" but directly after the babies crawl up to the mom's pouch on her stomach and from there they are in closed for another 70-74 days
it takes about an hour
16 days
About six months.
If the female lasts long enough, she could give birth to a sugar glider.

keep her with the 'daddy glider' and dont stress her. Dont take her with you anywhere or let new people see her or touch her. She will raise the baby by herself as long as you dont stress her out. If you want more info go to www.sugar-gliders.com : )
Get an e-collar on the sugar glider to prevent the glider from self-mutilating, and then rush the sugar glider to an exotic vet immediately.
The sugar glider live in the canopy .
There is no specific species known as a "little sugar glider".However, the conservation status of the sugar glider is common.
