When a hiring manager asks you "How long do you plan to work with us?", it is best to always answer with "long term". When you say long term, you are not giving a definite time frame but you also are allowing the manager to know that you plan on working with the company for a decent amount of time.

A good way to answer this question would be to tell the interviewer that you want to stay as long as you can to make a positive impact on the company. For example, when asked the question "How long are you interested in being with our company?" a good answer would be "I am looking to stay as long as I can while making a positive impact on this company."

When asked how long you intend to stay, be honest and tell the period you wish to stay. However, it is a good idea to state that you are willing to stay for a very long time.

If you're really too dumb to figure this out yourself, do your potential employer a favor and put down "As long as it doesn't interfere with me taking illegal drugs."
