I have a 1996 explorer with 265,000 on her with original tranny and motor
A Ford Explorer will last as long as the owner takes care of it. You will see some transmission issues with the 1997, but most will last 250k to 300k and over. Change your oil and check your fluids on a regular bases.
Impossible to say. If it was totally rebuilt and done correctly, with proper service it should last as long as a new one. If it is a used transmission, who knows.
The last model year for the Ford Explorer Sport Trac was ( 2010 )
you do not it is factory sealed the fluid if no leaks will last a life time so ford thinks
over drive for the trans on thr end of the shifter if automatic or the last gear on a manuel trans
I don't know but I'm still driving my 1995 Ford Explorer going on 16 years now
In North America the last model year for the Ford Escort was ( 2003 )
I believe that 1995 was the last year for a conventional speedometer cable on a Ford Explorer , and then Ford went to an electronic speedometer with a vehicle speed sensor
No , 1996 was the last model year that there was a separate washer fluid reservoir for the liftgate in the Ford Explorer
As far as I know the 1995 Ford Explorer is the last model year to have a conventional speedometer cable ( so yes )
2010 was the last model year for the Ford Explorer Sport Trac
The last model year for the Ford Windstar ( in North America ) was ( 2003 )
