i have a drug test tomorrow i took 2 10 mg valuim Friday and im prescibed xanax 1 mg will the valuim show up

The same amount of time if you were not on Xanax at all. Both meds will show up as a Benzodiazepine.. However, Valium will be in your system about a day longer

Xanax stays in someones system for 3 days to 3 weeks depending on how long and how much you have taken it. I took it for 11 years at 4 mgs a day and I tested positive for it for 3 weeks. If you only have taken it for a short time or not every day it will probably only show for a few days.

Short answer: Yes They only test for key chemicals in drug tests, this way they can get a larger common denominator. Benzodiazapam is found in Valium, Xanax, Librium, Serax, and Rohypnol, however it is unlikely that any person or party would need or want to know the specific drug you are taking. If you had a prescription for Xanax and took Valium recreationally, no drug test would be the wiser. However unless you are taking large doses of Xanax on a regular basis, expect the drug to be completely out of your system in 1-2 weeks.

Firstly, don't abusing the drugs that are trying to help you with that. Keep track of what your prescripton is and adhere to it; if you don't, let your doctor know.
