Deer season is one that is varied across the world. In some places it may only last 7 days, for others, it may go longer. In order to get a more in depth answer, it is advisable to check with local rules and regulations.
Usually 30 days with a week off for elk season in the middle or close to the end of the season.

One week.
october 18 - December 31
Normally you get 2 weekends with the 5 days in between, so 9 days.
The use of rifles in hunting is far more efficient than using a bow; it it much easier to strike and fatally wound a deer with a rifle than with a bow. As such over a set period of time more animals could be killed with a rifle than with a bow. If rifle season was as long as bow season many more deer would be bagged, which would put a strain on the deer population. Thus, bow season is longer than rifle season because rifle hunting does much more "damage" than does bow season.

During 2008, there were three types of deer hunting seasons in Ohio, i.e. gun, muzzleloader and bow. There were two gun seasons. The first was 1-7 Dec 08 and the last one was 20-21 Dec 08. See my hunting website for more details at URL:http://hunt-ohio-deer-and-turkey-on-public-land.com

Long haired hippie type pinko communists. And QUEERS
As long as you don't violate any federal laws or the hunting regulations for your area.
Supposedly deer can see shades of blue. However, If you have good cover it shouldn't be an issue.... I hunt with blue jeans and have been for a long, long time. Mostly deer will smell you before they see you. Or at least that has been my experience while hunting.
It is always the first Monday in November.
