∙ 15y agoHi, my incisional hernia operation took around 4 hours from start to finish, i was unable to have keyhole, as hernia was to large, i now have 14 inch scar, my operation was done on 3rd october 08, am now at home recoveing., i also had to have staples to repair the scar.

∙ 11y agoFor open surgical repair you may stay overnight in the Hospital. For laparoscopic repairs you may go home the same day. Complicated and recurrent abdominal hernia may require a few days in the Hospital.
