There are many variables that come into play in the biodegradability of cling film or wrap. However, as a general rule, it will take many decades for the wrap to complete disappear.
How long it takes for an aluminum can to biodegrade
It takes 1000 years for it too biodegrade and that is if it is buried. :)

It can take tin cans anywhere from 50 to 100-years to biodegrade. The decomposition is very dependent on the environment where the material is decomposing.
It is Film (A bit like cling film) but it is made of the cellulose lining of plants. So it completley natural and biodegradable, to create it they take woodpulp and turn it into a viscouse. They then do some chemical magic and you have the film.
