The body makes new blood all the time but how long it takes depends on how much. Actually it takes 4 month, because blood is produced from the bone marrow and the bone marrow replaces blood every 4 months, so if u donated blood for example 1/4 liter then it will take 4 months and if you donated even 5 liters, which is wrong, you will also take 4 months.

What is the most dangerous germ in the world?

I am not quite positave, but i think that the answer to this is PLASMA. not like your plasma TV, rather plasma from the sun. This is part of the reason why we wear sun screen and it helps our tan along. However, this Plasma can be very dangerouse. It may kill a human being when exposed for to long (don't worry, you will KNOW when you are exposed for to long) and it can burn any part of your body. It is extremely radio active and VERY VERY VERY dangerouse.

Can diabetics donate red cells?

I have been diabetic for several years and I have done the double red donation for Hoxworth. When I asked they said as long as you never had insulin from pork or beef products and your iron is high enough that you can donate the red cells. The blood sugar (glucose) is in the plasma not the red cells, and even so, they let diabetics donate whole blood products.

What is plasma in plasma tv?

The plasma in plasma TV is actually real plasma. Many people tend to think that plasma is something made up by science fiction novels, but it's actually closer to home then you might think. plasma is a state of matter like a solid, liquid or gas but with different properties. It is best described as being similar to gas, but is not exactly the same. The reason why plasma is used in televisions is because it can be manipulated into showing different colours. Plasma is matter heated to roughly 10,000 degrees and so if you pause an image on a plasma screen TV and leave on for a long time it will begin to burn into your TV. Plasma is often commonly found in households as it is used in light bulbs.

Where does aerobic and anerobic respiration take place?

Aerobic refers to action where oxygen is able to be introduced. Anaerobic refers to a lack of oxygen. Aerobic exercise is a physical activity that allows the participant to breathe and replenish their supply of oxygen such as long distance running. Anaerobic exercise uses oxygen faster than the body is able to replenish it. The cells use any stored oxygen but have to operate without their supply being replenished for a short time. Sprinting would be an anaerobic activity.

Can you donate plasma if you have MRSA?

Because MRSA is an active bacterial infection, you should not donate plasma for as long as you have an active infection of MRSA. There are a number of MRSA plasma donation studies available where you can be paid $200+ per donation to help researchers develop new diagnostic tools, treatments, and cures. Several such options are below: http://www.idonateplasma.com https://twitter.com/IDonatePlasma http://www.myspace.com/seracare http://www.linkedin.com/pub/i-donate-plasma-for-research/21/b09/726

Immediately after blood donation, the cardiovascular system will be perfectly normal. Your body will replace its blood volume (as plasma) within 24 hours after donation. The bond marrow will replace the red blood cells in about 4 to 8 weeks, which is why you need to wait 8 weeks before donating whole blood again.
