just getting them off takes about 15 or 20 minutes
but the orthodontist has to inspect your teeth and clean them
also you will most likely have to have a fitting done for your retainer
the total elapsed time is approximately an hour and 15 minutes
Well, my dentist said that i would be getting my braces off last week. So i went in for my appt. and i thought it was going to take a long time, but it only took about an hour and i didn't hurt all that much. I'm so glad to have them off my teeth. Thank god!
If you're talking about having an individual tooth extracted, most of the time (10-15 minutes) is waiting for the Novocaine to take effect before the extraction. Assuming no complications (a brittle tooth, a twisted root, etc.) a good dentist can extract a tooth in a matter of seconds. A broken-off root, or other complication can greatly increase the time.
It takes about an hour to apply braces.
no it is not. the wax is purposed to stop the brackets of the braces to hurt you mouth from the inside, wax is not a sticky substance. it is easy to take it off.
two or three years
Invisible braces should be treated like regular braces. You have to keep them in at all times and only take them off for eating and brushing.
Metal should not stain. You should be able to brush your teeth to remove everything on your braces.
Braces are often used to remove gaps in teeth.
well they have to take that part of the braces off then they fill it and put it back on
She had braces for a long time ...
it means to remove them
It depends on how good you take care of them. Around maybe 2 years.
You have to wear braces for two years normally. If you don't need them for that long it is for only one year. Hope I could be of help!
It is a rather long time to have braces on... but before you tell the dentist to take them off, get a second opinion from another dentist in your area... Hope that helps ~Coeur
