It depend's on the dog and the breed. Just like every human female is different, every female dog is different. I breed Saint Bernard's and Large breed dog's for instance don't come into heat for the first time until normally anywhere from 8-13 months of age and then again anywhere from 3-8 months later. But mY aunt used to breed Pomeranians and they came into heat for their first cycle at about 4-6months. Some Dog's come into heat at 6 months for the first time though and other not until 24 months of age. and Some females go a yr without having a Heat Cycle at all. It just depends on your dog, you know your dog better than anyone else, be attentive to how she's acting and montior her in the months that follow her first heat cycle.
all in all it varies from dog to dog, but normally a dog will go into heat twice a year (once every 6 months) and lasts approximately three weeks, but may be shorter or longer; again depending on the dog
This varies dog-to-dog - average is every six months but it could be more or less often.
Proestrus and estrus can last anywhere from 5 days to 21 days. This stage is also known as "heat.
It can be anywhere from five months to two years, but is typically between six and 12 months.
It lasts around 2weeks at a time. And it happens 2-3 times each year.
3 weeks
A dog's heat cycle is 3 weeks. It does not matter what breed or size of dog it is, they all have the same length for their heat, which is 3 weeks.
A female beagle's heat cycle can last anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. A beagle goes into heat twice a year, starting as early as 4 months old, and will continue for as long as she lives.
If the female dog has a normal heat cycle, it last 21 days.
My dogs first heat cycle lasted about 4 weeks.
Hi I am awering your question about a female's menstal cylcle. A female's menstal cycle should last about a week up to two weeks (7-14 days).
Females go into heat every five to nine months. So five to nine months after her last heat she will go into heat. The litter should not affect her next heat cycle.
6-7 days
A donkey's heat cycle can vary since no two donkeys are the same. However, the average heat cycle tends to be anywhere between 23 and 30 days.
Usually between 14 and 21 days.
i have a female 2 year old Chihuahua . i have found that it has been nearly two weeks for her cycles to run their course. but thankfully it is only every 6 months and is like clockwork.
Female dogs go through a heat cycle, called estrus, every six months. She will have proestrus, or a bleeding cycle, before her true heat cycle during which she is very receptive to the advances of male dogs. This heat cycle lasts for several days up to three or four weeks. Some female dogs will undergo personality changes during this time, the most common changes being anxiety and irritability.
