Where did lake fish come from?

Yes: I understand the Q.... A lake has no fish, & then, there are fish in it, how did they arrive ? Well a wading bird, for example, was in one place & a fishs egg from there is transported to our lake which has no fish in it, the egg is deposited, quite accidentally by the bird into the lake & in time it hatches out. The egg may well be stuck on the leg of the wading bird for example.... or I suppose any animal which wades in the river & then moves to the lake....
