How long does it take for flowers to change colors with food coloring?

me and my friend tryed it and we did it about 7:30pm and the next morning the flowers started to change coloures but not all of them changed colours so make sure to put in about 20-30 drops of food colouring in each thingy. and we noticed that the green food colouring didnt work at all:(

∙ 8y agoIt takes about 2minutes for the flower to turn a light color but it takes about 2 days for the flower to turn a dark color.
