Too many variables to answer. It would depend on what the camera was made of (since it would invariably be made out of several different materials, they would each decompose at different rates) and the conditions in which it was left to decompose.

Electronics do not decompose in the same manner as say cloth or paper products. The metal parts will eventually rust away but never fully dissolve as you may have seen old rusty tin cans by the road side. There are facilities which you can donate these items to for recycling.

Also, any old mobile phone can call 911 without a subscription to a cell phone provider. Some people keep a charged up non-connected phone in their cars for emergencies as they can all dial 911.

TV's are usually recycled; most garbage pickups will not accept electronics so they don't end up in landfills decomposing anyways.

The length of time it takes for clothes to decompose depends on the type of material. Something made of cotton takes less than a year, while nylon can take 30 to 40 years!
