How long does it take for hot water pressure on a new 40 gallon hot water heater?
The pressure depends upon the city/well pressure setting, but water will run through the pipes to your faucet as soon as the 40 gal. tank and pipes are full. Remember to remove the aerators when you do any major changes as the faucet aerators will clog up with any loosened debris.

Answer . Shouldnt be more than a few minutes. As soon as the power goes back on, within 2 minutes, you should hear the heating elements making a popping or clicking noise… as they heat up.
About 45 minutes to get hot first time.

Many residential 40 gallon water heaters use either 8 or 10 awg wiring. However, you should always consult with your local building inspection department and a licensed elect…rician.
depends on water pressure, but it should completely fill in 15-20 minutes. the water should be hot in another 20-25 minutes if it has been run completely empty.
When You replaced your 50 gallon electric water heater then filled and purged the water lines how long will it take to have hot water?

There are a number of things that could affect the water pressure in your home. These include: Mineral deposits in your pipes - mineral deposits are left as water moves t…hrough your pipes - especially if you have galvanized or horizontal pipes. Mineral deposits collect even faster if you use hot water often. New faucets - if you have recently installed new faucets or plumbing fixtures, they could be harming your water pressure to the point where you need a bigger water main supply pipe. Broken pressure regulator - part of the process for installing a new residential plumbing system is the installation of something called a water pressure regulator. Basically, this device makes sure the water pressure is right at all times. Unfortunately, water pressure regulators tend to break, leaving you with low water pressure. The good news is that water pressure regulators are inexpensive and can be easily replaced by a residential plumbing company. Your water storage tank is too low or too far away - it should come as no surprise that water travels fastest when it's going downhill (when it doesn't have to fight gravity). If your water storage tank is too low or too far away from your house, it's going to have to work harder to get there. If your water pressure is too low and there is no way you can move your water storage tank, a residential plumbing company can install a water pressure booster to give the water a little extra push when getting to your house. Your home's valves may not be on - check out your home valves - one in the meter box, the other near the hose faucet. If they have been turned even slightly away from the ON position, even accidentally, this could drop your water pressure significantly. If your water valves are slightly closed, simply pop them back into place and see if your pressure is affected. You may have a leak - even the tiniest pinhole leak can have a significant impact on your home's water pressure. Leaks can harm your water pressure and do significant damage to your house, so get them fixed right away. You're using water at peak load times
Cold water intake valve is wide open but no hot water volume or pressure in 3 year old 40 gallon gas water heater.?
It is probably the individual faucets. Take the screen off at the end of the spouts.
At the bottom front edge, there should be a hose connection. Attach a garden hose to it and then open the valve. Because sediment can collect at the bottom of the heater, they… can drain slow sometimes, but it should drain eventually. Turn the heater off before draining.
Your HWH usually is not the problem, most likely the problem is at the faucet. Older homes or home where the mineral content is high can have "buildups" of minerals in the fau…cets, valves and even restrict the diameter of the pipes. If you have any galvanized pips, check those first. The valve closest to you sink will probably be a good place to investigate. Sometimes it can be as simple as removing the aerator, from the faucet, then opening and closing the valve (both valves, the one of the faucet itself and the one below the sink) This may dislodge some of the mineral buildup. Then replace the aerator.

Yes install a bronze booster pump designed for hot water
About 60 gallons , if it is new. This amount will diminish over time because of sediment build up and corrosion. And while using hot water continuously the temperature of the …water will decrease as you reach the water heater capacity because it is mixing cold water with the already heated water to replenish what is lost. Thus, the modern age of tankless water heaters. If sized, installed properly you can run hot water at an exact temperature for as long as you want. Fill a tub, still have hot water, in fact, fill a pool, and still have hot water.
The water enters in a cold state & is a certain physical volume. Once heated the water expands slightly within its container (the heater) & therefore applies pressure within t…he heater or more to the point against the wall of the heater.
As high as the highest setting available on the tank.
