To be a registered mammo tech you must be a certified RT(R)

which usually takes a minimum of two years and then you have

continuing education. You have to meet state requirements, which

includes a certain amount of continuing education, on the job

training and documentation, and that is more self paced with your

employment. To be truly certified mammo tech you must pass another

state board exam. Then you truly become a RT(R)M.
