The myth is that it takes about 1000 miles of "babying" the new engine. Then change the engine oil again.
take the bulb out
Depends on the motor it has but anywhere from 3 to 4 1/2 hours for the1.8,1.9 tdi unless its the vr6 then 5 to 7 hours...
You can always take it somewhere and have them change them for you, places such as cartronics.
Take it to a VW shop and let them deal with that monster.
You do not take it to the shop. It does not have a dipstick I is considered sealed for life
