That's exactly how I felt when I first got mine on. The answer is yes. My pain went away after the first three days. You may also have trouble biting down when you first get them on as well. My bite came back about a week later.

∙ 11y agoYes, it will go away after 2-7 days. During that period, do not eat hard foods and take painkillers. If it does not go away after 12 days, consult a doctor.

∙ 13y agoyes after the first week they will, but... this is a monthly thing , make sure you wear the retainer or else the pain is "X10" when they shift back.
