No. It could make anyone who eats it ill. Potentially hazardous food should not be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Less time is better.
People constantly ask for some type of verification that the food they eat will not make them ill. That is nearly impossible to do without bacteriological and chemical tests, so all we can do is provide guidelines, like:
* Handle food in a sanitary manner (wash hands, clean & sanitize food-contact surfaces, protect from cross-contamination, package & store properly) * Keep potentially hazardous food either hot or cold and cook and reheat thoroughly, and * Use it within a reasonable time. In the end, you are responsible for what you feed yourself and your family. This adage has truth to it: When in doubt, throw it out.
It should be good for 5 days at least. It will last longer if you bring it to a boil everyday or so. You can also freeze it and keep for a month or longer.
Split pea ham soup should be good refrigerated for 3 to 4 days.
No. Throw it away.
No, it may not be safe to eat after being left out overnight.
if they are raw yes if they have been cooked no
No. Every year people get food poisoning from turkey and stuffing. Re-heat all left-overs thoroughly!
Well they look the same but I left it out overnight. The eggrolls and salmon were cooked yesterday. I'm not sure if I was suppose to put them in the fridge.
They would not be okay
Chicken is never okay outside of the fridge or freezer. If it's left out more than 20 or 30 minutes, I would throw it out.
It should not be an issue. The key is does the 15 year old feel safe? If they can handle any emergencies and are to be trusted, it should be okay.
No. Someone will eat it. Just kidding, to let it cool yes 45 minutes to an hour is okay on the counter. Overnight refrigerate. I make pumpkin pie :)
12 is the normal legal age for being left alone, it is okay for a 13 year old to be alone overnight. Never mind the legalities, do you feel happy leaving him/her alone? I have 3 children (all now well over 13) and I would have left one of them, but not the other, they would have burned the house down.
It depends. Is the 16 supposed to watch over them? Then that would depend on how responsible they are.Or if your asking if it would be okay for the 16 to just stay with the younger children...why not?
It can be done, but it is not a good idea to leave them much longer than that. If they were put in to wash overnight, then they should be put out to dry as soon as possible.
Okay, you can't really learn a split in seconds. But, you can learn it in one day. See related questions below.
