a car battery last for about 3-5 years
Assuming you never run it down it should last 3-5 years. But there is no guarantee and it can fail at any time. I had one that lasted 7 years and then again I had a new battery that only lasted 1 year. If you run the battery down you harm the battery and shorten it's life.
As long as the battery is kept charged then it should last 3-5 years.
