How long does it take for a molly to give birth?

Usually about 4-6 weeks. You will see the belly look like a balloon.

Make sure you have no other types of fish in there, as the cute little babies will get eaten. 60 to 70 days ,normally they have 10 to 60 fry [babby's] each time. And once the male mates with the female she can have 4 more sets of fry in the space of 6 months just from that 1 time mating up to 1 to 60 fry again. Don't forget every cm of fish = 1 litre of the water in the tank so don't over populate.

About 1-2 months. Be patient, and there is no way of completely knowing when they'll arrive. Look for signs like;

If she won't accept food

If she hides

If she rocks from side to side sometimes

These are all signs that she is ready to give birth.

The average is around 28 days, I've had dalmatian mollies give birth in as little as 23 days and 32 days after their last drop. A higher water temperature can shorten the number of days.
