The Arabian has a very large variation in height. The breed itself can each 16 hand, but that is far from the norm. They rarely see 15 hands. The site I have below is from Arabian horse association. It tells you a great deal about the breed. They are quite beautiful and very high strung.

Arabian horses do not vary in width from most other saddle type horse breeds of the same height. Some Arabians are slightly more narrow than other breeds of the same size. Because the height range of the Arabian breed varies so greatly (and therefore its girth, or width), it's not possible to give an exact measurement.

Well Arabs can get up to 16.1 or to 14.2 or so. So there around those heights.
