How long your training in the National Guard depends on what your MOS (your job) is. The least technical jobs are shorter in length, while the more technical jobs are generally greater in length. If you want an estimate, you can expect training to be a minimum of 13 weeks, with some of the longer training to be over a year. Again, it all depends on how technical your MOS is.

When you join the Army National Guard, you go through the same Entry Level Training that the Regular Army and Army Reserve go through. This may either be separate Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT), or it may be One Station Unit Training (OSUT), which is BCT and AIT rolled into one package. In the National Guard, you have the opportunity to do what it known as 'split op', where you would attend BCT (or the BCT phase of OSUT) in the Summer between your Junior and Senior year of High School, then attend AIT (or the AIT phase of OSUT) after graduation.
