You may experience break through bleeding, early period or no period for 3 months. Its different in every one. But hen you do have a period it should be 5 days if that's normal for you.

Once you stop your Birth Control pill you may not have a period for 3 months or more while the hormones are gradually decreasing in your body or you may experience odd episodes of spotting or start a normal period in a months time. Its different in everyone.

If you take your shot during your regular cycle,u want to do it no later than 2 days after you start, since that is your heaviest days. You will start to see your stream become lighter continue to wear pads rather than tadponds. It should stop about 2-3 days after. *Experienced this;but it is different for all women(Personal point of View)

If you've only missed one pill, there should be no change to the menstrual cycle. Take that pill as soon as possible, and then continue with the regular schedule. If you've missed two pills, do the same as above. If you've missed 3 or more, throw out the pack. Your period (withdrawal bleeding) should occur in approx 3-7 days, and then you start a new pack of pills on the Sunday or the first day of bleeding, whatever your usual course is. If it doesn't, you need to get a pregnancy test.

Most people still have a period even if they are on the pill; however the period might be lighter and shorter than it previously was, but normally speaking, yes, if you stop taking the pill your body goes back to its regular cycle - birth control is no different from any other medication that you stop taking.

I varies -- mine lasted for three months. If it persists past 28 days, see your doctor. Make sure you take iron supplements. Ask your pharmacist what dosage is right for you.

Do you spot after stoping the pill?

The "spotting" usually occurs within 7 days of stopping the pill but sometimes it can take as long as 14 days to occur. This spotting is known as a withdrawal bleed and is perfectly normal. Why black period after stopping taking birth control pill?

After either changing or stopping with the use of birth control pills, it is quite common to have a result such as brown or even darker period. It is normal, the experts say, mostly due to uteral lining, which stopped being thick as it was prior to taking birth control pills. No reason to worry as long as the visits to the doctor are regular and pills aren't taken without proper physical exam

Should you get your period around the same days after stopping taking birth control pills?

No you will unfortunately not get your period around the same time as you previously did. It will take 3 months for the hormones in birth control to be out of your system and because of this it can take this long for your periods to regulate themselves.
