Religions provide moral, dietary, sexual orientational, and behavioral guidlines. Not sure what you are asking. Guidelines are typically instated to help one get 'closer' to the God or entity the religion espouses. These guidelines are there for the practicer to align their heart with so they are less rules and more of an active and earnest participation in the faith, making the experience more meaningful. Do you mean what type of guidelines are out there? For my church (Christian, nondenominational) reading the Bible and praying each day is encouraged. As is associating closely with other believers and helping the poor/needy.
