Well, a little after 2 days it has been in your house. But I would suggest NOT to train them at a very young age, such as, newborn, or 1-5 weeks old. They still need their mom. So I would say about 7 or 8 weeks your puppy should be housebroken.
The above info is so ridiculous That is how long until a puppy can be weaned and taken from it's mother. Housebreaking is a totally different situation and that training should begin the moment you bring them home.
It will take awhile, and each dog is different, it could take up to 6 months to a year to be totally complete and successful. You can consider it reasonably housebroken when it goes w/o going potty inside for at least 2 months w/o accidents.
(FYI-Housebreaking is making sure they no longer pee or poo inside the house)
Answer:
Housebreaking a puppy is something you start doing right away. The time period will vary from puppy to puppy, but you can be successful within a few months. You must be consistent in the process.
well if its a little dog like a chihuahua it has to go every one hour if its a bigger dog and if it drinks a lot of water you should take him/her out morning, noon, and night, if you dont want pee all over the place. or you can train them to do their business on newspaper
They start going within the first 24 hours of being born. Just as in a Human new born baby. Often times you won't see the feces or urine because the mom licks it up and cleans the babies constantly.
They're is no age for a puppy to be taken outside. And yes I will answer the question. Puppies do not have a certain age for outside activity they only need have every shot and even if you do not have all of it's shots you can take it outside and put it on a blanket but make sure it dosent eat any grass nor escape the blanket. the puppy could catch a disease if it touches the grass before all shots try getting fake grass for a practice pee pad. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
6 to 12 weeks every hour so they only pee outside. And never think it's ok to go inside. After that extend to 2 hours and see how they do. Then 3 hours. Around 6-8 months they'll be able to hold it for 4 hours and then 8 hours.
take he/she out at least every 30 min if not sooner
if it is a puppy then yu should take him out right after he eats or wait ten minutes if it is not a puppy and the dog is housebroken then bout 15 or 20 minutes after
When the dog is getting exercise in an enclosed area or on a leash or in an area that is designated as a leash-free zone. Definitely let the dog out to do his/her business.
When the puppy starts sniffing around and maybe whining. :) btw i have 2 lil puppies
You should stop feeding your dog puppy food when it reaches about 1 year. A typical puppy will reach adult size when its about 8-12 months.
Your puppy could have a bladder infection. This would cause the puppy to feel the need to pee suddenly, not giving it enough time to get outside. You can take your dog to the very to get medicine to cure the infection. Also check your dogs food to see the amount of ash, if there is a lot of ash, it could cause the dog to need to go to the bathroom often.
A puppy should not be taken away from his/her mother until he/she is six weeks old. After you have gotten the puppy used to you, you can start obedience classes whenever.
A puppies urine should be yellow on a puppy pad.
your puppy should be three months when you take it to puppy school, at puppy school they learn simple skills like socialization skills an sit, heel etc. Though at six months your puppy can start training for shows. The general answer is at home you can start working with your puppy at about three months.
Age does't matter so much. If he's housebroken it will be alot easier for you.
I believe a puppy should probably be outdoors as much as possible because one, they're usually not housebroken yet, and two, they're really energetic and love to play and if kept indoors they might cause destruction and mischief where ever they go.
housebroken
Give them lots of toys, 'cause they like to chew, and lots of potty breaks outside till they;re housebroken.
They should be pooping every day, what were you expecting? Or are you saying that they aren't housebroken? That isn't a vet problem, it's a training problem, and puppies are likely to have "accidents" for some time.

The dog isn't housebroken yet. You have to be patient and continue to work on housebreaking by being consistent with training.
Yes, the dogs are housebroken. The only things you need to worry about, is feeding them, and cleaning them.
The first thing that you should do is spend about 10-15 minutes every day training your puppy. If you train your puppy longer than this allotted time than it may become restless and not respond to training. Second, take the sole responsibility of training your puppy, as it will look to you as the leader, and it will respond better. The first thing that you should teach your puppy, and which will also help its restlessness, is to teach it to sleep in a crate rather than on a dog bed or your own bed with you. This is important because dogs are naturally den animals. Make sure that the crate is smaller when it is just a puppy so that it will not go to the washroom in it, but as it becomes housebroken move the crate to where you sleep.
